Volunteers Wanted for the 2012 Florida International Senior Games

Get involved in your community, meet great people, and watch some amazing games and sports by an athletic group of seniors! Volunteers are needed at the 2012 Florida International Senior Games and State Championships, and your help can make this year a big success!

The games will be held December 1-9 throughout Polk County. This is a multi-sport event that offers 21 different sports and games for seniors 50 and older. These sports include archery, badminton, basketball (3 on 3), basketball shooting, billiards, bowling, team bowling, cycling, golf, horseshoes, pickleball, powerlifting, race & power walk, racquetball, road race (5K and 10K), shuffleboard, swimming, table tennis, tennis, track & field, and volleyball.

Volunteers are needed to help assist with athlete check-ins and registration, scorekeeping, t-shirt distribution, assigning courts,  distributing race numbers, venue set-up, bracket tracking and so much more. Your assistance can help make this enormous event become a success!
